Celebrating Just a Little

I finished my BA in Environmental Studies this week!

I feel a little lost not having classes and homework but I am so excited to be done with that part of my life. Now I just need to decide what I am going to do with my degree in a place that offers very little work for military spouses and does not care about the environment. Maybe I will continue being a stay at home slave and focus on our relationship.

  1. Congratulations on your degree! Second comment from me, but had to mention that I am also a military wife. :) Mine is reaching the end of His career, though. Approaching medical retirement after 20 years in.

  2. I LOVE meeting other military wives! We have to hide so much but my blog has allowed me to see that we are not alone. Congrats on getting close to retirement but I am sorry to hear it is medical. We are 10 years in and plan on staying as long as possible.

    1. I do as well! I got excited once I started seeing that you were a military wife. Mind if I ask what branch? And thank you, His knees are completely shot - and shoulder is really messed up. He has had a wonderful career, Airborne throughout most of it - but it's time for Him to retired. His poor body is very beat up. 10 years is great, good for you guys! I wish you all the luck with it - it's a hard life, but a good life. Military families can always relate, and have such incredible relationships/bonds. All our military friends are family to us.

And yes, so not alone. A lot of us out there. *smiles*

So glad I came across your blog! xx
